Transfer college credit
Columbia College welcomes transfer students. In fact, about half of our students come here after starting their education elsewhere.
We accept up to 90 hours of transfer credit — much more than most schools. We grant full credit for most courses completed with a “C” or higher from any regionally accredited institution.
Five Things to Consider when Transferring College Credit
Thinking of transfering to a new college? Here are five things to consider.
Transfer Equivalency
View our Transfer Equivalency Guide to see how your credit fits into our degree requirements. Please note the guide is subject to change.
The Office of the Registrar determines official equivalencies at the time of a student’s evaluation. If you do not see your regionally accredited college on the list, we will still accept your credit.
